Dr. Joshua McMillon

Dr. Joshua McMillon has been in practice since 2009. A graduate of Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, he received a bachelor of science in physical education. He then became a certified massage therapist before getting his doctorate from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.

He uses a multifaceted approach combining chiropractic care, muscle and soft tissue techniques, rehabilitation, and nutrition.

He began his career building a practice inside a gym. Since then he has treated recreational athletes like runners, obstacle course racers, triathletes, and weightlifters.

In addition to his house call practice, Dr. McMillon serves in the Center for Health at South Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. McMillon is also an adjunct professor at Miller-Motte college where he teaches anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

Dr. McMillon grew up in southern California and found that chiropractic allowed him to follow his passion. “I really enjoy working with my hands and I really enjoy providing solutions to health problems,” he says. “With chiropractic, I realized I could combine both.”

He enjoys time with his wife, daughter, and two sons. In addition to playing with the kids, he enjoys woodworking, obstacle course races, playing softball, participating in triathlons, and being involved at his church.
